How To Make Your Own Shower Curtain

Give your bathroom a little remodel with a custom-made shower curtain. This one from Raisin Toast’s blog (http://raisintoast.typepad.com/home_and_garden/2009/07/how-to-make-your-own-shower-curtains.html ) has a lot of pizazz with its bold pattern and bright colors. A bolt of 60” fabric was purchased. Measure your shower opening to determine the amount of fabric. Additional materials needed are a lightweight fusible stabilizer, thread, and shower hooks. The stabilizer is used at the top hem of the shower curtain to add durability and prevent hooks from tearing through material. You may want to put pleats at the top.

Crafter’s Choice is a fusible, nonwoven backing for firm support. It is available at http://www.htc-retail.com/product-info.php?pid14.html.
