The Quilters’ Guild of NSW Inc. & Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre announces “Evolution, Change, Challenge – A Contemporary Quilt” exhibition from August 29th to September 8th, 2015 in Sydney, Australia. Entries are invited for this exhibition, which is open to quilters and fiber artists from all states and territories in Australia. Membership of the Guild is not a requirement of entry. There will be two prizes offered, a first prize of $1,500 and a viewer’s choice prize of $200.

Quilts Inc. announces the International Quilt Festival Chicago 2015, scheduled for March 26-28. The festival will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, and classes start on March 26. Over 40 hands-on classes, lectures, special events, workshops and Open Studios demos will be offered. There will be hundreds of booths selling all things quilting, and hundreds of quilts will be on display.
